The perfect top for St. Patrick’s Day or any day

This top is adorable. I would wear this any day, and it comes in a ton of colors, but the dark green is perfect for St. Patrick’s Day.

The best part is that it’s not all cheapy-looking with a giant shamrock taking up the whole shirt… This one’s actually something you’ll wear for more than just one day out of the year.

It’s long-sleeved but not too heavy so it’s perfect for transitioning into spring. It’s got pockets which is a huge bonus for me, plus it’s got a flowy, relaxed fit.

I don’t know about you, but I’m always looking for something that’s gonna help camouflage my tummy just a bit. This style has that loose, kind of drapey fit in that area, so you know it’ll be flattering.

I honestly was surprised to find this top because when you’re looking for St. Patrick’s Day shirts, it can be hard to find anything other than a bright green, unisex t-shirt that you’ll only wear for one day.

But this shirt is so feminine and classy-looking, it’s perfect for giving a subtle nod to St. Paddy without standing out like a sore thumb.

Muted green polish for St. Paddy’s Day

I love wearing nail polish, but sadly, my nails aren’t big fans. They get extremely weak and start to split any time I try to wear polish.

BUT! That was before I found out about Dr.’s Remedy nail polish. It’s formulated by 2 podiatric doctors with more natural ingredients than regular polish.

I can actually wear this stuff! And even after leaving on my toenails for weeks, when I remove it, my nails have absolutely no discoloration. It’s pretty amazing.

This muted greeny, turquoise color is sooo cute and an understated touch for St. Patrick’s Day. It adds a splash of green without having to wear bright lime on your fingertips.

Those nail polishes with little shamrock sequins are festive, it’s true, but they usually run pretty cheap in quality, and keeping your nails healthy is more important.

Plus chances are slim that you’d ever wear it again. This shade is much more wearable, so you know you’ll get your money’s worth. AND it won’t damage your nails.

Tasteful, reusable wreath that works for St. Patrick’s

I love love love this wreath. It’s 15 inches wide so it’s a great size for hanging on your front door this St. Paddy’s Day—and on into spring!

I’m a real sucker for these greenery-type wreaths, so this one is like my spring dream if I’m honest.

And it’s pretty affordable considering the size and quality. I’ve seen one at my local store that rhymes with Shmarget for twice the price.

The reason I love this wreath so much is that, if you take a closer look at the link below, you’ll see that the eucalyptus leaves look a bit like shamrocks!

So obviously it’s an amazing fit with St. Patrick’s Day but, again, it doesn’t limit itself to just one day out of the year. It’s simply a pretty piece of decor for spring.

Classic St. Paddy’s Day-ready plaid dog bandana

Don’t forget your pooch! I know that the Squishy Pug would love to parade around in this bandana… that is if she did any parading. LOL. She’s very much a layabout in her golden years.

But if your puppy is heading out with you this St. Patrick’s Day, why not deck him all out, especially in Kelly green? Plaid is classic and would look so cute on any little doggie.

The Squishy Pug has a big red coat for the winter, but I’m thinking this bandana would look amazing on her for spring. (Are you reading this, Pug Auntie? *wink, nudge*)

Holidays are one of those times when you want to spoil your dog and dress them up. But this bandana is something they could wear any time of year since it’s not themed after a specific holiday. You could reuse it for Christmas too.

Chocolates fit for St. Patrick’s Day

Oh chocolate, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways. Didn’t some poet write that once upon a time? Something like that.

I love chocolate and mint. My husband doesn’t get that, but that’s okay, because it’s not like I was going to offer him any of my Andes anyway, can I get an amen?

Seriously though, these things are addictive. But they’re green. And that makes them fit for St. Paddy’s Day.

There are plenty of other green candies out there, but since I have a slight major addiction to chocolate, this was my first choice.

There are sour apple-flavored green gummy bears, lime-flavored candies, etc. But for me, it’s always gonna be the chocolate.

M&Ms have green mint-flavored chocolates too! I haven’t tried those yet though. (But I might “need to” soon.)

You can’t go wrong with chocolates, am I right? You can find ’em here.

Reusable wins for the budget

The best thing about all 5 of these green St. Patrick’s Day items is that they’re ALL reusable! Well, maybe not the candy, because that will likely be gone in a flash.

But they’re all multi-purpose and not things that are themed just for St. Paddy’s Day.

Which I love, because I’m all about frugality, sticking to a budget, and keeping things simple.

Of course, we want to have fun and indulge a bit at holiday time, but we need to find ways to do that without breaking the bank.

And spending money on disposable or one-time-use items is a huge black eye when it comes to the budget.

I hope this list of 5 St. Patrick’s Day items you can reuse has helped give you some ideas for celebrating this year!
